New Floor, New Lights and a Job Fair!

It's that time again... for a NEW STORE UPDATE! I went to the new location today to hang some signs about our Job Fair (more info in a bit) and tada! the tile flooring was being installed! It was a nice surprise. Literally! The floors look so sleek and clean. Each time I walk into the store there's something new and, of course, I can't wait to share the pictures!

We currently have career opportunities available! We're looking to hire more sales associates, a jeweler and a watchmaker! Dinner for Champs!

Last Thursday we had our first annual Dinner for Champs! Typically, we have a Breakfast for Champions but this week Wendy decided it would be fun to get a little fancy and have our monthly champs event at Perry's. It was a ton of fun! The theme was the Oscars. Wendy gave out Lewis awards, everybody gave a thank you speech and we learned that our individual jobs are successful not because of one but because of many.

It's a day full of love here at Lewis Jewelers! We've had a lot of sweet suprises in the store today. Flowers everywhere!! We hope everybody has a wonderful day full of X's and O's! We have a pretty sweet and sparkly suprise for y'all. Tomorrow, Omar with JB Star is going to be in the store! JB Star is known for their beautiful, natural diamonds and colored gemstones. We have a drool-worthy selection here in the store, and let me tell you... these beauties belong in a museum!

A Saturday Evening of Magic!

This past weekend Lewis Jewelers got to experience Cirque du Soleil's Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour. It was a pretty magical experience! I mean, I knew it would be good but I wasn't sure how good. Without the King of Pop up on stage it's hard to imagine somebody else portraying him, much less multiple people portraying him through dance and acrobatics. But, Michael Jackson was brought back to life through an incredibly moving and hypnotic performance. If you've never seen Cirque du Soleil live you should definitely but it on your to-do list!

 We weren't allowed to take pictures during the show so I attempted to take pictures of the stage when the performance wasn't going on. The stage props/decor/pyrotechnics/COSTUMES were incredible!

New Location Update

Yesterday I went to the new location to see all the progress that had been made. And boy.. it was a lot! The walls are freshly painted and the floor is currently being installed. Everything is coming together and it's turning out beautifully! Remember what it looked like a month ago?

So, what do ya think? Hopefully, you're as excited as we are!

Do you have Eclectic Energy?

If so, this is definitely the post for you. Here at Lewis Jewelers we're celebrating a whole MONTH of color. Did I previously forget to mention this? Since our Week of Color posts, we've decided to extend it. This could easily be a Year of COLOR... Wendy and Kimberly came up with this great idea to share our ideas about color and the different ways jewelry can be worn and get customers more involved with picking out jewelry for Lewis. After all, it's all about  We have our creative juices flowing and working on putting it all together!

Wendy's client, Jodi, was her first model and didn't the pictures come out fantastic?! Wendy's creative interpretation of how jewelry can be worn is so fun! Not to mention her sweet picture taking skills!

Here's the final product! We're definitely having a lot of fun with this project!

This & That -- Pattern Edition No. 2

If you've ever stepped foot inside Lewis Jewelers it's pretty obvious that we love color! I've recently started noticing that a few of us get pretty crazy when it comes to mixing colors and patterns. Not to point anybody out... but, last week, (on the same day!) Tarah and I came to work sporting some colorful patterns and funky color combos! You'll soon realize that I'm a huge fan unconventional color palettes. Upon viewing Tarah's eclectic mix of color and pattern I began to think about which pieces of jewelry would match her outfit and voilà! the second ever This & That post was born!
